I play music and live in Portland, Oregon. Trumpet is my main thing but I dabble here and there. As a member of Blind Pilot I've been fortunate to tour extensively throughout North America and Europe and appear on television shows Late Night With David Letterman, Ellen, One Tree Hill and CBS This Morning. Aside from that, I've written and performed for several seasons on PRI-syndicated Live Wire Radio and composed music for television shows American Pickers, Pawnstars, and National Geographic Explorer.
Two EP's of my own music currently exist: Astoria Sessions (2017) and Road Songs (2016). It's pretty weird stuff. No pressure but here's the pitch: while jazz upon first impression, these recordings walk a line between psychedelic elevator music and arranged avant garde chaos. Sold. Other performance and recording credits include Don Henley, Calexico, Victor Wooten, Gregory Alan Isakov, Wayne Horvitz, The Barr Brothers, The Low Anthem, Storm Large, The Von Trapps, Kristin Hersh, Reggie Watts, Charlie Cunningham, The Minus Five, Portland Cello Project, Kieskagato, Rm 101, A Year Afar, Alela Diane, Jim Brunberg, OK Chorale PDX, Mimicking Birds, Jolie Holland, The Quiet Life, Crystal Bowersox, Laura Gibson, and Cataldo.
